Walk with an English-speaking guide and private boat on Tonle Sap Lake to the flooded forest of Kampong Phluk via the fishing village of Chong Khnis, approximately 1.5 hours by boat.
Visit the fishing village of Kampong Ploek, a wonderful and unique village. A village on the water isolated from the world… accessible only by boat.
During the dry season, you can walk around this village built around a temple. You will be able to see the construction and renovation of houses and boats, the lifestyle of the local people and the transportation of villagers who live on the water for 6 months. Visit houses, small fish factories, small market etc…
During the rainy season, you will take a private boat from one house to another and soon change to a small boat to explore the submerged forest.
Our car is waiting for you at Kampung Phlok, 45 km on the road, we will stay at the forgotten temple of Bing Mealea (Flower in the Pond).
You will be amazed by the quality of the architecture and decoration of this temple despite the fact that nature and humans have left it in ruins.
